  • WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PRE-ORDER?
Certainly. By placing a pre-order, you will be among the first group of companies worldwide to utilize pallets made from coconut husk. The NetZero Pallets® are scheduled to be dispatched to pre-order customers for testing in the first quarter of 2024.
  • WHICH COMPANIES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PRE-ORDER?
Pre-order eligibility is extended to distinguished brands involved in producing and exporting significant quantities of dry goods from the Asian region.
  • HOW MUCH DO NETZERO PALLETS® COST?
The NetZero Pallet® solution presents the potential for cost savings of up to 20% for our customers. If you represent a prominent brand actively involved in substantial production and exportation of dry goods from Asia, we invite you to contact us for details regarding testing and commencing pre-orders for NetZero Pallets.
  • WHAT PROBLEMS DO NETZERO PALLETS® SOLVE?
In the context of the circular economy, NetZero Pallets address multiple challenges simultaneously. By procuring coconut husks from farmers, we generate additional income at the grassroots level, discouraging the incineration of husks and thus reducing air pollution. NetZero Pallets act as sustainable alternatives to single-use, one-way wooden export pallets, alleviating the necessity for felling and transporting trees for such purposes. This not only results in cost efficiencies for customers but also aids in minimizing their carbon footprint. Moreover, the milled NetZero export pallets serve as excellent heat-treated biomass for agricultural applications.
  • WILL NETZERO PALLETS® REPLACE ALL PALLETS?
NetZero Pallets are currently designed as a specialized solution and may not be suitable for all pallet applications. We advocate for the use of multi-use pallets within pooling systems, as they often result in the lowest costs and least environmental impact. However, it's important to note that pallet pooling might not always be feasible for export scenarios, where pallets must meet specific criteria such as adequate strength, ISPM15 compliance, and cost-effectiveness. We strongly believe that wood can serve more sustainable and enduring purposes, such as in construction, furniture, and toys, rather than being exclusively used for short-term applications like export pallets.
  • ARE NETZERO PALLETS® BIODEGRADABLE?
Certainly! Our NetZero Pllets® are completely biodegradable. We avoid using pesticides, additives, or nails in the manufacturing process. After use, our export pallets can be shredded, recycled, or composted. Moreover, we are actively researching and developing techniques to employ NetZero Pallets® as soil enhancers in potting soil.
  • ARE NETZERO PALLETS® RACKABLE?
An innovative nestable design facilitates shipping a significantly larger number of pallets per container, resulting in savings of up to 70% in a standard 40-foot container. To incorporate NetZero Pallets® into racks, it's necessary to have a closed floor in your racks or to utilize a slave pallet underneath.
  • HOW MUCH SPACE DO NETZERO PALLETS® SAVE IN A CONTAINER?
NetZero Pallets® offer a remarkable space-saving advantage of up to 70% when compared to standard wooden pallets. For instance, a stack of 50 NetZero Pallets® has a total height of approximately 2.3 meters, while a stack of 50 normal pallets measures 7.5 meters. This translates to the ability to accommodate around 1400 standard-size NetZero Pallets® in a 40-foot container.
  • ARE NETZERO PALLETS® ISPM15 COMPLIANT?
Certainly, NetZero Pallets® fully comply with ISPM15 regulations. They are entirely free of bugs and pests, ensuring compliance through the proprietary heat-treatment process integral to the manufacturing of NetZero Pallets®. The impenetrable nature of the final product further guarantees the absence of pests. This distinctive feature not only results in cost savings by eliminating the need for pest treatment but also facilitates efficient transport. We provide documentation ensuring a swift passage through the port of arrival, minimizing delays commonly associated with wooden pallets subjected to checks for harmful pests.
  • WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT NETZERO PALLET® CAN HANDLE?
The majority of our pallets boast a robust capacity, effortlessly accommodating up to 8.000 kg in static load and 2.500 kg in dynamic load. Moreover, we are actively engaged in the development of heavy-duty pallets designed to handle even larger loads.
  • CAN NETZERO PALLETS® BE CUSTOMIZED?
Certainly, we offer customization options for NetZero Pallets®. For orders surpassing 50,000 units, we can create custom designs and sizes to meet your specific requirements. Additionally, we provide the option to integrate your company logo into the pallet design.
  • WHAT DO YOU USE TO MAKE A NETZERO PALLETS®?
NetZero Pallets® are crafted using coconut husk. The coconut husk, which constitutes the outer and hairy part of the coconut, is traditionally treated as waste and is disposed of through burning or dumping, with approximately 80% of the husk being discarded in this manner.
  • DO YOU USE BIOMIMICRY TECHNIQUES IN YOUR DESIGNS AND PROCESSES?
Indeed, we actively integrate biomimicry techniques into the design and processes of NetZero Pallets®. The fundamental concept is rooted in the understanding that nature has already provided solutions to many of our challenges. Animals, plants, and microbes serve as ingenious engineers with their adept development of structures, surfaces, and processes. Leveraging over 4 billion years of research and development, nature's successes are evident, and our surroundings hold the secrets to survival.
  • IS NETZERO PALLETS® INTERNATIONAL A FAIR TRADE COMPANY AND WHAT ABOUT WORKER’S RIGHTS?
Certainly, NetZero Pallets® is committed to fair trade practices, ensuring the well-being and fair treatment of every team member across the entire chain. We value each contributor, from coconut farmers to cooks and CEOs, recognizing the importance of their roles. Our aim is to make a positive impact and inspire constructive change throughout the organization.
